Elias and I have had some fun finding different ways to play inside. Sometimes the most simple toys turn out to be the funnest.

THE BIG 25
Devin turned the big 2 5 on the 18th. He came home to a decorated apt. after taking a long test. We were able to go out to eat with my family down in Utah at Los Hermanos and then we went to Red Robin with Devin's family. On his actual birthday we went to Applebee's. We came home and I made him BTS cake. Yumm! So we've had a fun birthday month. He got some birthday/graduation money to get a gun and I got him a nice shirt, hatchet and a head lamp light. He is excited to use them this summer when we go camping.
St. Patty's Day
We had a fun little St. Patrick's Day. A Leprechaun left us Lucky Charms and turned our milk green. Grandma Belnap got Eli a cute bow tie. All the little girls were flirting with him at church:) For dinner I made corn beef and cabbage and also green rolls. And for dessert we had homemade oreo cookies with green frosting. Kelsey (Devin's sister) came over for dinner. It was magically delicious!

9 months
Elias is 9 months now. He got his first hair cut last week and now we can really spike it good. Before it was too long to spike it. He had his 9 month check up yesterday. He is still on the smaller side of the scale but growing good. He is 5% weight and head circumference and 25% height. Last month he got two teeth on the bottom and He is now getting two teeth on the top. He eats really good and is also really active. He loves to crawl around and discover new things. He loves standing up on things and walking around with Devin & I. He smacks his lips when he's hungry and he waves hello and goodbye now. He loves to be right in the middle of everything whether its me doing a project or a bunch of kids playing.

Eli's 1st Hair Cut
We gave Eli his first hair cut this last Saturday. We cut off about an inch and a half off. He looks a lot older now. He was really happy at the beginning but by the end he was crying. He didn't like it one bit but it looks a lot better and was very needed.
Swimming/Cheesy Face
Over the three day weekend we wanted to get out and do something so we decided to go swimming at Lava. They have a heated indoor swimming pool. Elias did really good. We swam for about an hour. At first he wasn't sure about it, he didn't know if he should laugh or cry, but he loved watching other people swim. There was a diving board and a rock wall so it turned out to be really fun. Eli usually goes to me but he felt safer in Devin's arms this time. Devin was loving it too. We had a blast!
Eli's newest thing is cheesy face. He scrunches up his nose and points it to the sky. It's funny:)
Valentines Day
Our Valentines Day was low key this year. It consisted of chocolates, pizza, salsa verde doritos and Lion King. Devin made heart shaped pizza and bread sticks that turned out really good. Then we had bts cake for dessert, scrum-diddley-umpshous and what better way to end the night then watching The Lion King, "Can you feel the love tonight?"
