Weekend Adventures

The Belnap's had a fun weekend full of many adventures.  First off, on Friday Devin and I went on a date to the Motab concert here in Rexburg and it was really really good.  I had never really heard them sing other songs besides church songs so I thoroughly enjoyed it.  Erica watched Elias and did a phenomenal job.  Thank you Erica!  We had our good friends, Steve & Rachel, stay over Friday night, so we were up late.  Saturday morning we had a ward breakfast, yumm.  Later that day we did boat races.  Devin ended up getting first place (surprisingly), Rachel got second, I got third and Steve got fourth.  That night we got invited over for dinner by some friends.  That was fun getting to know them better. Sunday we got a new stake presidency and so we met in the BYU-I center.  That night we invited Erica, Breanna and Kelsey for dinner. It's Kelseys Birthday today so she got to eat on the "special plate" and we made her a cake.

When Erica babysat Eli, she got him to laugh and it's really cute.

Happy Birthday Kels!!!

Tummy Time

This is Elias during tummy time.  We make him do tummy time 10 minutes a day.  He doesn't like it and cries almost the whole time but he is getting stronger.  This time he was so tired he ended up falling asleep and the end.  I thought it was so cute I had to take some pictures.

12 Weeks Old

Eli is 12 weeks today!  He used his bumbo last night for the first time and did really well.  He's holding up his neck good.  He hates tummy time but we make him do 10 minutes a day and he is getting stronger.  He still has the funniest expressions that I could look at all day.  His legs are getting stronger as well and he can put his weight on them when we are holding him.  He takes naps really good and goes to bed at night really good.  All that hard work to get him to fall asleep on his own has paid off.  He goes to bed around 9pm and he only wakes up once during the night between 5 and 6 to eat and then wakes up around 9am.  I guess most babies hold in their farts but Eli definitely just lets them fly.  He must feel really comfortable around us:)  In fact, he's farting up a storm as I type this.  He is such a joy in our family.  We love him to bits and pieces.
