Half Way There!

I am 20 weeks today and that means I am half way there. Yeah!! Just this last week I have grown a lot and graduated to maternity pants. This Friday we find out the gender of the baby. Is it going to be a girl or boy? Stay tuned.

18 weeks

Tomorrow I am 19 weeks but I thought this 18 week picture was funny. I swear there really is a baby inside me I have seen it in an ultra sound, felt it and heard the heart beat.

Cravings:)

Well, I haven't had any really weird cravings for dirt or bricks or anything like that. During my 1st trimester I feel like I didn't really have craving as apposed to, that was the one food item that sounded ok enough to eat and not throw up; such as french fries, bread sticks and wingers chicken. There were some food items that I usually like a lot but my 1st trimester they sounded disgusting which was onions, ground beef and eggs.

But I think my first official craving would have to go to Muddy Buddies! Two weekends ago I HAD to have them so we ran to the store to pick up some chex cereal so I could make them. They were gone within a day. This last weekend I made them AGAIN because they sounded sooo good and I couldn't get them out of my mind. They aren't the healthiest for ya but oh well, at least I'm not outside eating dirt:)

Grandma Carol's Rug

My Grandma Carol would make rugs out of used wool coats. I found one she started before she passed away and I was determined to finish it. I had a lot of fun making it and thinking of my Grandma. I finished it a few months ago but I didn't have a camera that worked to take a picture of it. I got a camera for Christmas but I'm still trying to get the settings and lighting right, so the pictures aren't the best but that's ok. It fits perfectly in front of our refrigerator and every time I step on it it warms my little tootsies and I think of my wonderful Grandma:)

17 weeks

Well, I am 17 weeks now and everyone is asking if I have a bump yet. I took pictures but you can't really tell but I am getting a little bigger and I can tell. I am doing a lot better with morning sickness and I am starting to get my appetite back thank goodness. Last week I sneezed really big and right after I put my hand on my stomach and felt the baby move, it was really neat. There is, a little baby growing inside me:) We had a doctors checkup this week and heard the babies heart beat and it's doing good. Next time we have a checkup (which will be Feb. 3rd) we will do an ultra sound and find out the gender. Yippy Skippy! I can't wait! I am so excited to get started on making things for the baby.

Hair Cut

This week I got a new hair cut. Not a big change just more layers throughout to give it some more body and shape. It's kind of a bad picture but I really like how it turned out. I forgot to get a picture of the back after I got it cut.

Christmas/New Year's Festivities

Christmas was a lot of fun and it went by so fast. We spent Christmas and new years with the Belnap's this year. It was really neat to go to church on Christmas morning and it helped remind me the true meaning of Christmas. We got a new camera for Christmas from my folks. It's just a basic sony camera but it works great, no more fuzzy pictures, yeah! We took a few pictures on Christmas day by the tree with some of the presents we got for Christmas. Devin and I both got coats and I love the one Devin picked out for me. I surprised Devin with an RC helicopter and he loves playing with it. It's pretty fun to fly it just takes practice to get it to go in the direction you want it to go.

For New Year's we went bowling. It was a blast and I love that tradition! After we got home from bowling we lit the tree on fire with roman candles.
