Eli's baby blessing

Elias Wright Belnap received a blessing from his father on August 19th 2012.  I made his outfit from leftover fabric from my wedding dress, and Grandma Belnap crochet a blanket.  It was such a special day.  Thank you for everyone that came, you made it such a special day for our little family.

Rub a dub dub, who's in the tub?

Eli doesn't really like bath time yet, but a couple days ago he didn't cry the whole time he was in the tub.  He loves getting wrapped up in his towel though. But then again who doesn't?  After his bath his hair sticks straight out like he has just been electrocuted.  It's awesome!

1 month old & baby shower

Elias is now 1 month old.  It's gone by slow and fast at the same time.  He is such a fun addition to our little family.  We still don't get much sleep at night but I guess that's just part of having a newborn.  He is starting to smile more and it is so cute.  He has discovered his tongue and sticks it out a lot and it's really cute.  He loves to be held.  He could sleep forever and ever as long as he's being held but the second you put him down he wakes up and starts crying.  He turned a month old this last Saturday July 14th., that day we also had a baby shower for him.  I made cookie monster cupcakes.  It was such a fun shower and Eli got a lot of nice gifts.  Thank you everyone for the presents and your love and support.

Happy Independence Day

Happy Fourth of July everyone!  We had a really fun day yesterday.  We had a breakfast fit for a king and then I made a cake.  After that we went to the lake and swam for a little while.  That felt good cuz it's been so hot lately.  We came home and had ribs and lots more really good food, then we watched fireworks and Devin and Ashley got a few fireworks to do as well.  It was such a fun/nice day and I am so thankful for our freedom.
