Golden Dragon Chinese Acrobatics

Last Saturday we went to a chinese acrobatic show here in Rexburg, ID. Oh my goodness these little chinese people are amazing. The show was very very good. They would balance on something that was balancing on something that was balancing on something. It was crazy! One guy was balancing on chairs from the floor all the way up to the ceiling and then balanced on one arm. After the show Devin wanted to go home and try balancing our kitchen table with his feet. It was a really fun show to go to and they were incredible.

Halloween 2011

For Halloween I was Little Red Riding Hood and Devin was the Big Bad Wolf. I love dressing up for Halloween it's so much fun. That night we had taco soup, sugar cookies and played murder in the dark. It was a lot of fun.

Lost

Last Saturday we went to a Straw Maze with our ward. It was a lot of fun. We got lost but we finally made our way to the exit an hour later. At night the scary ghouls and monsters come out so I was walking really fast because I wanted to get out before they came out. There were a few monsters and zombies that scared us but the good part is that we got out alive. There was also a camel at the straw maze. It was pretty big and had really soft, thick fur. It was really cool. After the maze we went to our friends place and taught everyone how to play BANG. We had a really fun night.

Darby Cave

This last Saturday we went on a hike up to Darby Cave. We wanted to do one last hike before it got too cold and the weather was perfect on Saturday. On our hike we saw Robin Hood and Little John running through the forest. It was awesome! We saw a black bear about 20 feet ahead of us on the trail. I was in front so I spotted it first. I was a little freaked out. It looked at me then scampered off down the mountain. For a while after I kept seeing bears or stumps and rocks that looked like bears. On our way down I also saw a fox. It was running off with its bushy tail. It was harder for Devin to see it because it blended with the fall colors. The cave has a waterfall that flows underneath it, it was really neat. It was a gorgeous hike with the leaves turning colors and the weather was so nice.

Pumpkin Carving

For FHE we carved pumpkins with our friends Grant and Brianne. I love carving pumpkins.

Table Runners

I made two table runners last week. Here is my Halloween one and on the other side is Christmas. The second one I made is fall on one side and valentines on the other. They are really easy to make and they turned out really good. Sorry again for the pictures, they aren't the best.
